Well, Race Change just hit in US, and is comming to us very soon.
I'm planning on changin race on my Warrior that i'm leveling, as soon as I hit level 80. Shadowmeld was a great help while leveling, but I do so hate those flimsy night elves, I couldn't stand playing one much more.

The question is ofcourse, what race should I pick?

Humans are out of the question. I already have more then enough of those, as is Dwarf Females, as they are fugly. And ofcourse nelfs are a no-no. What remains is:

Dwarf male
Gnome male/female
Draenei male/female


What do you guys figure? Whats the coolest race to play for a future tanking warrior?

I would say Gnome or Draenai Female.

Well, you want to go and tank right ?

if yes:

Id say stick with Nelf... because: The Dodge they gain is awsome just 2% free "avoidance"... cmon you really want that as tank...

or if your really want to chance race you can go dranei... because of the Heal

If no:

Id pick Draenei female why: first the 1% hit chance increase for the entire raid... whoop whoop awsome... And the second reason is you have a HEAL ! yes... a heal... which you can put on the tank if the healers are running low / late and can put on you for reduced mana for the healers... or on a healer to save there ass... (ie: Totc10/25 last boss p3... Healers kind of forgetting to heal themselfs...)

as second choice i would consider dwarfs to be a fair option... Because you make the most use of the racials.

I don't care that much about the racials. I know that Nelfs have the best one right now for tanking (might change come catalysm though, and this won't be my main until that time...), but in the end it's not such a huge difference. Looks > Racials imo

Basicly, what do you figure is the coolest looking tank.
I'm very much considering gnome, as a tanking gnome just looks hilariously awesome.


And yaeh, I noticed that it hit today in europe as well. When I checked this morning it was not there yet. In any case, will wait until level 80 (shadowmeld is just too damn awesome when leveling) before changing.

Might very well be a female gnome. Checked out the gnome animations, and they look awesome. Female cause they are very rare among non-casters.

Still a couple weeks until decision must be final, so might change my mind again.
