G'day Heroes,

You will notice on the Calendar that the big day has been scheduled. We are going to Gruul's Lair on the 6th July for our first 25-man raid.

This means everyone has a little over a month to continue to prepare. Please be aware that your gear *will* be taken into account when we select the 25-man team, so do everything you can to get up to scratch over the next few weeks. The recommended minimum stats are in the Gruul's Lair forum for everyone to check.

If you're already geared up enough, help your guildmates to get what gear they need, in normal instances, heroics, and Karazhan. We will need a strong team if we want to defeat Gruul.

I don't know about you, but I'm really excited that we will soon be into the bigger raid content. There's still lots more to see before WOTLK!

Greetings all,

Heroes of the Alliance is now *almost* ready to break into 25 man raiding. Recruitment and gearing up will continue over the next few weeks, and Karazhan runs will continue as we clear up the last couple of bosses and get more people some nice loot.

I expect we will be raiding in Gruul's Lair by July at the very latest, We are going to need *everyone* to read the boss tactics beforehand, and we will be much stricter on not letting raiders show up without the necessary addons and consumables.

Further details of this will follow in the forums, but for now, just concentrate on gearing up in Kara/Heroics/Crafted gear and preparing in any way you can.

I for one can't wait to get to some "proper" raiding content!

CROSSROADS SMACKDOWN

TUESDAY 15TH APRIL
1900 FOR 1930 SERVER TIME

As a fun event for you to show off your skillz without the pressure of a raid instance or battleground, and also as an excellent way to REALLY annoy the horde we are going to undertake a Guild raid on the Horde town of Crossroads in The Barrens. The town is lightly defended and easily taken over, but the alert goes out across the Barrens and all high level horde flying in/out of Ogrimmar / CowTown will hear it and turn up pretty quick to attack. Then the fun begins...

SCHEDULE (SERVER TIME)

1900 - GATHER AT BOOTY BAY DOCKS
1920 - DEPART ON BOAT FOR RATCHET
1925 - RIDE TO X-ROADS GRAVEYARD AND ASSEMBLE TEAMS UNDER RAID LEADERS
1930 - ATTACK

Please be on time and don't expect summons etc... We will be on the boat at 1920 and will not wait

We will be continuing to raise our Guild minimum level as discussed in previous news:

From 30th April, our minimum level will be 40. With immediate effect, we are no longer accepting characters below level 40 into the guild. If you are under level 40, you need to stay active, and reach 40 by the end of April, because at the end of April any members that have not made it to level 40 will be removed from the guild.
