I'm back!
|
Hey guys,
For those of you that haven't noticed me online at the weekend, I am back online and active again. I had a bit of GF-aggro that I had to take care of which led to me taking a 2 week break.
I've come back to an even bigger guild than I left behind, and lots of new faces. I'm looking forward to getting to know our new members over the next few weeks!

Some time away
|
Heroes,
As you may have noticed I haven't been online in the last few days. Due to some personal issues that I won't go into, I will be taking a short break from World of Warcraft.
I expect I will be back in a couple of weeks, and look forward to seeing the guild just as strong then as it is now.
Until then, the Officers will look after the day to day management of the Guild to keep things running, and I will do my best to remain active on the website and forums.
See you online when I get back!

First Week in Karazhan
|
Hi,
The guild's first week in Karazhan brough highs and lows. For many people it was their first look inside the instance and their first raid. For others who joined us with perhaps unrealistic expectations, the guild did not deliver and they have left us. We wish them luck in their new guilds.
We raided on Wednesday and Friday, and intend to go back in tonight before the instance resets on Wednesday. Wednesday's raid was very successful for a first run, and we downed Attumen and got some solid tries in on Moroes, although we couldnt seem to get him down.
Friday's raid was called off after some guild drama left the group 2 men down half way into the trash pulls, but we have learned from the incident and have become stronger for it.
In need of better organisation for the raids, I have implemented the CALENDAR function which is linked above. Please sign up for any of the upcoming runs that you wish to attend. If you are not signed up on the website, you will not be guaranteed a place.
Also, if you are not on time for the raid, then there is a strong possibility that your place will be taken by someone else, even if you have signed up on the site.
Hope to see you online soon

Karazhan here we come!
|
Hey guys,
Over the last couple of weeks the level 70s in the guild have had their sights set on Karazhan, eagerly doing the quests and instances so that they can get The Master's Key to unlock the door, and gathering the best level 70 gear they can get their hands on ready to charge in and take Medivh's haunted mansion apart. Even the lower level members in the guild will have noticed the discussions and focus of the guild as we aim towards our first raid.
So the good news is from looking at the players we have available, I believe we are now in a position to schedule our first Karazhan raid!
Looking at what days people are available, it has been decided that we shall start our raid on WEDNESDAY 13TH FEBRUARY AT 8.00PM SERVER TIME. This gives you all one more week to get the last bits of gear you need from normal and heroic instances before the big day. On the day we will meet online at 7.30pm to form the group and get ready for the first pull at 8.00pm.
Karazhan is on a weekly reset schedule, and once you go inside you are saved to that version of the instance for the rest of the week and you cannot enter any other version of the instance (for example Sparta will have their own instance that you will be unable to join later in the week). Therefore there will be opportunities for everyone throughout the week to come in and have a try and some of the bosses.
EVERYONE go to the Karazhan forums and read the information in the BOSS STRATEGIES post. Familiarity with the fights is important, as some of them are VERY complicated.
If you have any questions or problems, drop me a message in game to discuss

Karazhan and Hogger
|
Greetings everyone!
We have 2 BIG raid events coming up, one is for the level 70s, and the other is for the whole guild.
For the 70s, there is some important information on the forums regarding Heroes of the Alliance starting out in Karazhan. "Kara" is a 10-man raid dungeon in Deadwind Pass for level 70 characters that have beaten all the 5-man content. We hope that the guild will be progressing in Karazhan and beyond in the next couple of months.
In order to organise the first groups for Karazhan, if you are level 70 or approaching level 70, please visit the Kara forum, read the information and post your reply.
I may have 2 other guilds interested in joining up with us to make Karazhan groups. You should be aware that raiding isn't like normal instances, and getting 10 people online at the same time will be tricky without good organisation, especially if they are in different guilds. We should use the website to its full potential to help get our groups together, so register your ass! (see previous news)
The other raid will be organised for this weekend. All are invited to re-roll a level 1 human character, and we will get together and raid Hogger!

Hogger is a level 10 elite mob in Elwynn Forest. If we get enough of us together, we should be able to take him down! Drop me an in-game letter, or reply to the post in Guild Events forum if you are interested in coming!
See ya!
