Addons can really enhance your game and make everything a lot easier. Here are some personal recommendations:

Titan Panel:This will show you all the information you really need as part of your User Interface. Things like Durability, Money, Loot Type, Coordinates, Bag Space, Exp/hour are all easily visible and make things a lot easier.

Cartographer: This will improve your map, adding coordinates, and also has the option of displaying the Guild members on your map. Very handy to have!

Atlas Loot: This will show you what Loot will drop from any bosses in any dungeons you might venture into. It can also be configured to display the vendor price and drop rate of items in your backpack.

X-Perl: This is specifically a raid addon, but it makes the interface a bit prettier, adds 3D portraits, and a host of other options. Be careful though, it is difficult to configure properly.

To get any of these Addons, download the rar file from here and extract whichever files you want to the directory "C/Program Files/World of Warcraft/Interface/Addons". Then you need to enable the addons in the Character Selection screen when you log in.
