If you want to contribute with Grey items, please sell them to a vendor and contribute the Gold. 6. Use SHIFT-Right click to select just the amount of a resource you need. You don't NEED 20 Citrines to craft that piece of armour you want. Just take one or two so that everyone can benefit. 7. If you take resources to craft an item for your profession, please either put the item back in the bank for someone to use, or donate the Gold that you get from vending the item. You should not be making profit from the Bank. 8. Please donate your spare Gold generously to the Guild Bank so it can be used to fund Guild Events and other features. The possibility of a repair fund and/or mount fund is also still under discussion Raiding Rules 1. Signups for raids is done on Website under the calendar. 2. Be on time. If you are not there at the posted invite time, you can be replaced, even if you arrive before the posted starting time. 3. Ventrilo is not optional. If you do not have Ventrilo you will not be invited to raid. No exceptions. 4. Come prepared. You are expected to have a Flask/Elixir buff as well as food buff. These must always be used unless Raid Leader says otherwise. Failure to buff up will inflict DKP penalty 5. Have the right tools. Deadly Boss Mods or BigWigs is requiered. So is a threat meter of your choice. 6. Know that you are ready for the raid. If you are not geared enough for the hard content you can and will be replaced. Loot Distribution 10 Man Raids 1. The Raid Leader will act as Master Looter or appoint another person to deal with the loot on their behalf. 2. Loot will be distributed on a roll basis. If you want to roll on a drop, inform the Raid Leader and then there will be a roll off. 3. If you have already won an epic item on a particular run, you must pass on the next item which you need, unless you are the only person who needs it. This is to ensure that the loot is more evenly distributed in the group. This works seperatly for normal items and tier items. If you have won a normal item you can still win a tier item, but you cannot roll on 2 tier items on the same run. 4. Any disagreements about loot distribution should be escalated to a member of the Officer team 25 Man Raids DKP will be used in HOTA's 25 man raids to make sure that loot is shared out fairly to the people that have earned it. Basically you get "DKP-points" to "spend" on loot drops and you get points by coming to raids. The more raids you come to, the more points you get, and the more loot you will get. This means that a person who comes for the first raid won't be able to make a lucky roll and get loot in favour of someone who has been raiding for weeks and STILL waiting for their gear to drop. DKP is divided on the different tiers. The DKP you gain in Tier 7 dungeons (Sartharion, Naxxramas and Malygos) will not be usable in later Tier 8 and Tier 9 content. As we do not do guildruns for Vault of Archavon no DKP will be used there. UPDATE: Due to the farm status of Naxxramas no DKP is used there anymore. Loot will be rolled for in a manner similar to 10-mans. This also go for Obsidian Sanctum and Malygos as these are a part of the same tier of raiding. Update: Due to the simplicity of the Onyxia fight, no DKP is used there either Heroes of the Alliance use a zero-sum bidding DKP system. The system works like this: Starting DKP 1. The base number for our DKP system is 75. That means that you will recive 75 DKP to start with. If you are on your first raid, you will not recieve your starting DKP until the end of that days raid. This is to avoid people to snag allot of stuff on their first raids and not showing up again. Bonus DKP and DKP Penalties 1. The raid leader might gve out extra DKP on progression content, to award people who helps the progression along. 2. If you fail to be prepaired (food and flask buff) you will recieve a 15 dkp penalty. 3. Once a month this DKP will be normalized, so that the system goes back to being zero-sum. That means that you once a month will gain or loose some DKP in a normalization. This is the same for everyone, and the actual standings will remain the same. IN THE RAID 1. When a boss is killed, decide whether you want any of the drops. 2. If you want to know how much DKP you have, send a /w to the master looter which says "!dkp" or "!list [class name]" and you will get an automatic reply. 3. You must BID some of your DKP-points if you want to win an item. You do this by writing !bid [number] in a whisper to master looter, where number is the amount you want to bid (whole numbers only). Example: "!Bid 50" will bid 50 dkp. You cannot bid more DKP than you have. Make sure you type it correctly, because you cannot retract a bid once it has been made. If someone outbid you, you can put a new higher bid, but you can never lower your bids. 4. The Loot Master end bidding when no more bids are comming in and will then check the bids, and the item will go to the person who bid the most. That person will pay DKP equal to the amount of the second-highest bid +5, or the minimum cost, whichever is higher. (This may take you into negative DKP, but note you cannot *bid* into negative DKP). 5. The minimum costs are as follows: Tier tokens: 40 DKP Mainhand weapon slot: 40 DKP Everything else: 25 DKP 6. The rest of the raid that did not win the item, will receive the DKP that the winning person has spent. (Note: This means that the amount of DKP in the raid does not change, hence "zero-sum") 7. In case of no bidders, the item can be rolled for offspecc. Items won on offspecc rolls always cost 5 DKP. In case of no rolls, item will be disenchanted and shard added to guildbank. 8. Loot you have won is yours. It can not be traded to someone else, if there is not specific reasons for this. If you for some reason change your mind about the loot you have won, contact an officer, and it will be sorted on a case by case basis. EXAMPLES> Case 1: Two tanks both want a tanking sword. Tank 1 bids 50 DKP. Tank 2 Bids 90 DKP. Tank 2 will win the bidding and pay 55 DKP. The 50 DKP Tank 1 bid + 5. Case 2: Two tanks both want a tanking sword. Niether have allot of DKP. Tank 1 have 15 DKP and bids everything. Tank 2 have 20 DKP and bids everything. Tank 2 will win the bidding and pay 40 DKP and end up at -20 DKP. 40 DKP is the minimum for main weapon slot. OUT OF THE RAID 1. You can check your DKP by going to the WEBDKP page. Non Guild Members 1. If we have to bring non guild members to a raid because of lack of a certain role, this member will be given 50 temporary DKP. This means that the non guild member will be able to buy gear as well. Important to note however is that you should always have more DKP then a non guild member, unless you have recently spent your DKP. 2. A list will be kept of non guild members that have spent temporary DKP. If they wish to join us either for a raid, or the guild, the DKP they have spent will still count as spent. 3. DKP spent by non guild members will not be divided among the raiders, as this is not possible in a zero-sum system. Any temporary DKP spent by non guild members will have no effect on your DKP. 4. If we have to bring more the four (4) non guild members the run will be considered a PUG and DKP will not be used. Instead rolls will be used in a similar fashion to 10-mans.
